Treat every hair segment as a finite rigid rod, with full capsule contact and collision-first finishing.

Hair as connected rigid segments.

CPRS stores center position, quaternion orientation, linear velocity, and angular velocity for every active segment. Endpoints are derived only when solving joints, collision, and output.

Body and optional Clothes contact uses the full finite capsule. Collision receives final priority so rods remain outside the character even when joint and bend goals compete.

Highlights

Finite rodsRigid segment state preserves a clear axis and rotational behavior.
Capsule contactCollision evaluates the segment body rather than only its center point.
Contact priorityBounded finishing passes keep nonpenetration ahead of shape goals.
Native CUDASimulation runs in a compiled GPU backend with no CPU fallback.
